Music For Mustaches

Tonight, I’m playing with my new friend David Nodiff at the first Annual Westchester Stache-Off! I’m on guitar, David’s on cello, and we’re playing Radiohead! This is an event by John Chattman, author of the recently-published Sweet ‘Stache.

New Photos

Took some photos in the Old Dutch Cemetery this morning; light was coming in at the perfect angle to illuminate the brightly-hued leaves. More Halloween-ness!

Mid July

Signs that summer is in high swing (well, in my neck of the woods, anyway): Daytime temperatures are 85-95 F Humidity is 60-80%; perpetual haze Frequent late-afternoon thunderstorms Mulberries underfoot everywhere, making a mess, and smelling like cheap homemade wine the Cicada killers are out I’d never heard of cicada killers, but encountered them a [...]

Moore No More?

Rumours over at Create Digital Music indicate that Brian Moore Guitars is changing it’s name to iGuitar, Inc. How sad. Upcoming Gig – River Day

Historic Hudson Valley is hosting a seasonal event on August 13 called River Day at Van Cortlandt Manor in Croton-on-Hudson, New York. I’ll be backing my friend Iris Cohen on guitar for a full set of originals and a couple of covers. Eric Mauriello will be holding down the low end as usual (that’s hipster [...]

Gig Brain

Made a brief ‘appearance’ on Saturday evening at the second annual Pleasantville Music Festival, supporting my friend Iris Cohen on the Tribes Hill acoustic stage. We played one of her new songs, Wait for Autumn, then the Stones classic Salt of the Earth, with a slew of Tribes Hillians in a big singalong. Unlike previous [...]

Earth Day Gig

My friend Iris is performing at Tarrytown’s Earth Day celebration this Friday, April 21. Iris writes and performs original folk and folk-rock (hear some by visiting her Myspace.com page). I’ll be playing electric guitar on several songs in her second set. First set is 6:00-7:00; second set 7:30-8:30. Hope to see you there!
