It’s Labor Day Weekend, and the lackadaisical season we call Summer is now unofficially over. This weekend I put the finishing touches on yet another cover, this time an instrumental called Coast to Coast by The Scorpions, whose two guitarists – Rudolph Schenker and Matthias Jabs – influenced me greatly growing up. This song always [...]

Spring is definitely here now. Funny, it seems like just a couple of weeks ago we were shoveling snow and watching the Winter Olympics…. With Spring comes new life, and new music. Right now, National Public Radio is previewing Jeff Beck’s new album, Emotion and Commotion,..in its entirety(!!!). How cool is that?

Spring is definitely here – crocus are exploding out of the ground faster than you can count ‘em. Our garden is showing numerous signs of life just in the past couple of days, as plants shake off their winter sleep and awaken to the sun again. The energy coming up is invigorating, inspiring, motivating, and [...]

Spring is here! And the balance of light and dark is at mid-point – right now, day and night are about equal in length, at twelve hours. Anticlimactic as it is, what with the warm temperatures we’ve experienced this winter, still it thrills one a little to know that soon the ground and trees will [...]
